Management of the projects

The management of the construction projects is controlled by the University’s Mitigation Management Group. This is chaired by Director of Campus Services Geoff Pringle and includes student and staff representatives. It meets every ten days to assess progress and plan construction work so as to minimise disruption to users of the campus.

The Forum is managed by the Forum Project Management Group which is chaired by the Registrar and Deputy Chief Executive David Allen.

Communication

The University has appointed former journalist Duncan Sandes to manage the communication to staff, students and residences. He replaces Jo Cole in the role. He will be supported in this task by other members of Communication Services, the University department which manages media relations, internal communication, the web, design and publications, events and stakeholder management. This is headed by Director of Communications Stuart Franklin.
