The University has 18,500 students, over 90% of which are full-time. 1,800 members of staff are employed in six Colleges over three campuses.

League tables and awards

Exeter was ranked 10th and 11th in the latest Times and Guardian league tables respectively. The Times Higher Education World University Rankings lists Exeter as one of the top 200 universities in the world.

Research excellence

In the 2008 RAE Exeter had one of the highest proportions of staff returned (95%) with nearly 90% of the research rated as being at internationally recognised levels.

Finance facts

In 2009/10 the University's annual turnover was over £227 million.
