Executive PA to the Vice Chancellor and Chief Executive

Rachel Hucker

Rachel joined the Executive Suite in 2009 after working in the Employability and Graduate Development team (formerly the Careers and Employment Service) for a number of years.  She provides Executive PA support to the Vice Chancellor in his University, national and international roles.

After gaining an undergraduate degree in Modern Languages from the University of Sheffield, she started her career in Singapore and spent five years in Higher Education as a foreign languages tutor and course manager.  On returning to the UK she worked as a repatriation consultant for blue-chip, international clients, moving later to the City’s mezzanine finance sector as a multi-lingual PA.

An extended break in the Caribbean for a year preceded a move to the South West with her husband in 2005.
