Net Positive Futures

At the start of 2021 we partnered with Net Positive Futures for a more comprehensive understanding of our supply chain's journey to sustainability and carbon net zero. The Net Positive Futures Supplier Engagement Tool is currently a collaboration between NWUPCNEUPC and TUCO and follows a successful pilot and development with the University of Manchester. The tool enables suppliers to the Higher Education sector to create a simple, free sustainability action plan for their business, which helps them consider their sustainability journey, demonstrate progress and share this with their clients (consortia , university or other public sector clients). Net Positive Futures provides a clear and consistent approach to supplier engagement in relation to the Flexible Framework and sustainability  and moves beyond supplier engagement into supplier development (an ‘offer’ rather than an ‘ask’). It enables clear reporting on sustainability with a dashboard which allows us to interrogate the data  and provides a coherent response to the Modern Slavery Act.  Have a look here to see what our supplier view is when they register and contact procurement@exeter.ac.uk for any queries.
