New projects

We continue to invest in our campuses, estate and infrastructure. We are building the estate we need to deliver world-class research and an internationally excellent education, accommodating our students and our world leading academics in exceptional teaching, learning and research spaces. Please below some of our new and live projects currently happening across the Univeristy of Exeter.

Multi Faith Centre

The University is planning make a significant investment to create a new, flexible and inclusive Multi-Faith Centre in the heart of Streatham Campus.

New student residences on campus

At the end of May 2021 Exeter City Council granted Outline Planning Approval for the University to redevelop student residences in the Clydesdale and Birks areas of Streatham Campus

St. Luke's Campus redevelopment

The University of Exeter is seeking a wide range of views to help shape an ambitious vision to redevelop its St Luke’s Campus over the next decade and enhance its reputation as a world-leading centre of excellence for health and wellbeing research and education.

Penryn 2.0

We are proposing to invest in a new facility on our Penryn Campus that will build on the success of the Environment and Sustainability Institute (ESI), expanding our impactful, premiere, sustainable futures research and teaching.

Duryard PV Solar Panels project

The University of Exeter is proposing to install ground mounted Photovoltaic (PV) solar panels on University land close to Duryard Halls of Residence, adjacent the end of Cherry Tree Close and Woodleigh Close.

Lower Hoopern Valley a nature based solution

Lower Hoopern Valley is a steeply sided, 38-acre plot of land to the south of Streatham Campus. The space is currently maintained by the University of Exeter’s grounds team, and has been identified as an area of opportunity for enhanced biodiversity, community use and research activity.
