At Exeter we manage the activities of Corporate Responsibility and Stakeholder Management in one Office. By bringing these two areas together, we can focus on building relationships with strategically important organisations and people.
We aim to identify who we need to work with and how, helping colleagues across the University to work with and communicate with our main stakeholders.
The sort of things we do include:
- organising the regional and national stakeholder events
- organising yearly meetings with local councillors
- helping to identify who needs to be invited to major University events
- helping to identify who needs to receive important corporate communications
- undertaking market research projects to inform our corporate decisions
- working with colleagues - external and internal - to identify and maximise the benefits of engaging with the University
We have a team of staff who include Stakeholder Management as part of their normal job and act as the “Lead” person for named organisations – working on projects, communicating with them and taking engagement further.
