Integrating employability directly into modules

By demonstrating clear links to employability, Julie makes topics that might otherwise come across as dry feel relevant and worthwhile. She has also created an ‘Interview Skills Pack’ and a Wiki for students to share their interview experiences. She has very good relationships with professionals in the field keeping her up-to-date with current issues. “I tell them when they’re revising for my module that they’re actually revising for interviews too”.

Aim 2: Excellent employment experiences & capabilities
To measure and improve the employability attributes of all students through course, extra-curricular and out-of-term-time activities
