Student-led projects in Natural Sciences
Second year Natural Sciences student Emily Bate took part in the "Frontiers in Science" module, which required her to work as part of a team in order to deliver a research project. The programme's interdisciplinary nature required Emily and her peers to think outside of the traditional scientific discipline in order to come up with creative solutions to the challenges they faced throughout the module.
As Emily explains in the video below: “this project really helped to develop my team skills… I think [I have learned] that communication within the group is really important”.
"There were four people in our group and we all had slightly different ideas".
