Accessing your support

When you arrive at University, please contact AccessAbility to register with us as soon as possible. If you declare your disability at registration or at any other time during your studies, please follow this up with a visit to AccessAbility to discuss and arrange any support you might need.

You will need to bring:

  • A copy of your Educational Psychologist's report or medical evidence
  • Your Technical Needs Assessment report if you have one.

We can help with:

  • Extra time in your exams. Let us know if you received extra time in your school exams as soon as possible so we can arrange this before your first set of university exams.
  • One-to-one specialist study skills tuition.
  • Mentoring.
  • Non-medical helper support such as note taking.
