Resident handbook

Our online induction will answer many frequently asked questions about your arrival at Exeter and help you familiarise yourself with your University accommodation. We recommend you complete the induction before you arrive. 

The Accommodation Handbook provides all the information needed during your stay in University accommodation and covers a wide range of topics including:

  • Keys - on arrival, lost keys and access cards
  • Your Room - room number, bed linen, cleaning etc
  • Mail - receiving, collecting, redirecting, your residence address
  • Parking
  • Meals - early, late, special diets, guest meals, events
  • Emergency - health, safety and security information
  • Maintenance - who to contact for serious and routine maintenance
