Creating a world-class University together
Building One, part of the University Business School was completed in February 2011 thanks to the support of all our alumni and friends.
World-class facilities are now available to our students to help them engage and further their learning.
The Forum is due to be completed later this year and will provide students with a purpose built student services building.
The Forum will provide much improved library facilities, a 400-seat lecture theatre and attractive piazzas in which to enjoy the Devon sunshine.
The first phase of the Forum - two levels of the library - was completed early 2011 and provides students with a fresh, exciting learning experience.
The new £3.7 million Mood Disorders Centre will provide world-class facilities which will enable leading research into depression and its treatment.
Philanthropy has played an important part in the University's inspiring £348m capital programme. This investment across our three campuses will create a vibrant modern learning environment, coupled with cutting-edge facilities to provide first-rate opportunities for our students and academics.
World-Class Campuses
The University is nearing the completion of the very latest capital investment programme – providing state of the art facilities for our students.
Donors supporting the latest campaign have contributed towards the iconic Forum Project which will create a new heart for the centre of campus and is currently well under construction.
The first phase – two levels of the main library – are already complete and provide a fresh, exciting learning experience.
The campaign also supported our stylish new Business School building, which was opened in April 2011. The Business School is ranked among the top schools in the UK for student satisfaction.
Our investment into new buildings and the very latest facilities is essential. It helps us attract the very best students and truly world-class researchers and allows them to reach their full potential.
