Exetra Business Starter Clinic and Network event

15 September

Work Club Offices, London, 18:30 onwards;

Interested in starting your own business or just curious to know more?

On Thursday 15th September 2011 Exetra is holding a  Business Starter Clinic supported by entrepreneurial alumni where you can learn more about how to start a company. The event is open to anyone who wants to start their own business, wants to get advice or is just interested to learn more.

The event is kindly being hosted by Exeter Alumni Martin Brooks (Politics 1989), at the Work Club offices in London. For directions on how to get there click here.

During the evening there will be several informative talks from alumni experienced in starting their own business, to share tips, advice and ideas. After the talks, there will also be the chance to ask more questions and share ideas during a speed-networking session. Entrepreneurial alumni attending this event include; our host Martin Brooks (Politics 1989), CEO of the Work Club; Paul Cockerton Joint Managing Director, Dynamo PR (Economics 1992); and Charlotte Pike (Spanish & French 2007), who has created an award-winning cake company Go Free Foods LTD.

Check out our Facebook group for more details and career bios on these alumni and others who will be attending the event. To find us on Facebook just search for Exetra, the recent alumni social network.

You are then welcome to join us for a drink afterwards for some more informal networking at the Roebuck pub.

We are compiling a Frequently Asked Questions sheet to make available on the night and on our Facebook group. Send a question now to Rachael Magee r.magee@exeter.ac.uk or post it on our Facebook group to make sure you get it answered!

Want to know more? Join the Exetra facebook group where we will post career biogs of some of the alumni attending.
