27 October

International Leadership Association Annual Conference, Westminster Plaza Hotel, London, 6pm to 8pm ;

The Business School is very proud that the ILA’s 2011 annual conference will be chaired by our very own Jonathan Gosling, Professor of Leadership Studies. More than 700 leadership scholars, practitioners, and educators from close to fifty countries gather each year at ILA's annual Global Conference to present their finest research and scholarship, compelling ideas, best practices, newest teaching techniques, and unique stories from the field.

This is the first time that this international conference has been held in the UK and the University of Exeter Business School will be holding a unique event at the conference on the evening of Thursday 27th October 2011. As Exeter MBA and Leadership alumni we would like to invite you to join as our guests, to take part in this provocative and stimulating event.

Keynote Listeners event:

The energy and conversations surrounding the core theme of this years’ conference – One Planet Many Worlds: Remapping the purposes of leadership. - will be captured via a host of social media and collated into a series of short clips which form the focus of a stimulating and dynamic debate.

The collected insights and suggestions from amongst a wide audience will be presented by the Chair of the event, Professor Brad Jackson, in a fast-paced, concise and interactive manner. The Keynote ‘Listeners’ will respond sharing their insights and expertise with the Chair encouraging as much debate as possible. The Keynote Listeners will then collaborate with the ILA event team to take forward the ideas and suggestions, and even proposals to the Rio+20 United Nations Summit in Rio de Janeiro in June 2012.
