AMBA - The Indian Opportunity

This evening event is designed for MBA students and graduates with an interest in global business and the part the growing Indian market plays in global business.
The evening centres around a panel discussion and the distinguished panel comprises of experts and business leaders who have had direct experience of doing business with or in India. The panel will give their perspectives on the risks and opportunities India offers, from their unique vantage point.
The panel session will be followed by an opportunity for guests to ask questions, engage with out speakers and network with fellow MBA students and graduates. This event is suitable for all MBA's, irrespective of their current experience or knowledge of global business.
Pradeep Mohile
Pradeep is a UK-India consulting partner at Orion International. He is a strategic deal maker and negotiator, specializing in advising businesses on how to make a successful entry into India while minimising the risk of doing so. Pradeep has worked in UK, Europe, the Middle East and India and is a qualified engineer.
Alpesh Patel
Alpesh has over ten years’ experience as an investment professional and investment advisor. He is also a Director of Praefinium Partners Ltd, an Asset Management Firm. He is an advisor to governments, private banks, and investment funds. He has authored eleven investment books, which have been translated into eight languages. Alpesh graduated in Law from King's College London University, and in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from Saint Anne's College, Oxford University. Alpesh is also a former Visiting Fellow in Business at Corpus Christi College, Oxford University.
Morgen Witzel
Morgen Witzel is a Fellow of the Centre for Leadership Studies at the University of Exeter Business School. He is an internationally known business and management writer , whose eighteen books include two international best sellers: Doing Business in China and Tata: The Evolution of a Corporate Brand. In India, he has worked with several leading institutions and has been a columnist for The Smart Manager, one of India's leading business magazines, since 2002. Morgen has published two books in India and is writing a third. Interviews with Morgen have appeared in DNA, Mint, Economic Times and many of the other business periodicals in India.

The meeting is aimed at all MBAs, from those with a professional interest in the business impact of India as a growing economic power and those who wish to learn of the opportunities and risks the expanding market offers.
