Government and Public Affairs networking event
16 February
House of Lords, London, 18.30 sharp;
The Government and Public Affairs networking event has been organised by social networking group Exetra and is kindly being hosted by Baroness Anita Gale.
The event gives you the chance to hear from alumni with experience working in the political and policy fields. The evening will include informative talks from alumni and a speed networking session where you can ask more questions and learn tips and advice about working in the industry. If you already work in a public affairs or policy role, or if you’d like to, please come along to network with other alumni and share your experiences.
Alumni confirmed to attend include:
- Judy Hargadon, OBE, Chief Executive, School Food Trust
- Andrew Slaughter, MP
- Luke Pollard, Head of Public Affairs to ABTA, The Travel Association
- James Rowlands, Global Policy and Research Manager, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors
- David Tripepi-Lewis, Account Manager, Dods Parliamentary Communications
For a full list of alumni taking part in this event and for a selection of their career biographies please see Alumni Biographies
Please note you must RSVP to Rachael Magee, (English & Film Studies 2008) at r.magee@exeter.ac.uk, in order to attend this event, by 13 February. Register early to avoid disappointment as we only have limited capacity for the event.
