Debating Society Speakers' Fund

The Debating Society host weekly events with guest speakers including notable politicians, journalists, academics and experts in everything from nuclear energy to the Royal Family.

Our Friday night debates attract hundreds of students every week to the Amory Parker Moot Room and the Debating Society's weekly workshops train our members in vital skills including public speaking, logical reasoning and presentation skills.

Can you help?

With your help, we will be able to continue our success by attracting the very best guest speakers. By making a donation, you will help deliver a remarkable university experience to a generation of students - all through our society.

Support will help us cover speaker expenses, the costs of running training events in the community, the publicity for our debates and all the other costs involved in running the oldest and most prestigious University of Exeter society.
