Recognising your support
We very much appreciate the support that you give to your University, irrespective of amount and are committed to recognising your generosity in a meaningful and appropriate way with regular communications throughout the year. We also respect the wishes of some donors to remain anonymous.
Annual Donor Report
We are proud to include the names of all donors who make a gift to the University of Exeter in the University’s annual Donor Report for that year.
Book of Benefactors
The University is honoured to list all all those donors whose gift to the University total £1,000 or more by recording their name in the Book of Benefactors. Located in Reed Hall, itself one of the University’s first philanthropic benefactions, the Book of Benefactors represents the continuing philanthropic history of the University.
Looking around the University’s campuses names like Washington Singer, Mardon and Hatherly are all evidence of Exeter’s philanthropic past. The University of Exeter is always delighted to explore ways in which it can appropriately thank its supporters.
We want to recognise the generosity of all our supporters and are offering a range of naming opportunities for gifts of every size. All our donors and supporters will be recognised on a listing within the new University Reception. In addition, specific spaces, academic posts, clusters of equipment, lecture-theatre seats or Forum roof sections can be named after a donor or someone special.
Naming provides a meaningful opportunity for the recognition of outstanding contributions by those who serve as an inspiration for future generations of students, graduates and members of the University of Exeter community.
