The Class of 2012 raised funds for a mosaic by Honorary Graduate Elaine Goodwin.
The Class of 2012 have left a legacy of over £700 to the University and its future students.
Led by a student committee with support from the University’s Development and Alumni Relations Office, the Class of 2012 set out to raise money for their chosen project – contributing toward a mosaic created by Honorary Graduate Elaine Goodwin.
Over the spring and summer terms, culminating in graduation week, the Class of 2012 committee raised the funds from over 190 students – 6% of the graduating class. The contribution made by students was topped up by the University’s Arts and Culture Department and the artwork is now displayed in the new Forum reception.
