The Annual Fund
The Annual Fund is the University's annual appeal which seeks the philanthropic support of its alumni and friends to invest in the University and to further enhance its status as a world-class institution.
What is the Annual Fund?
The Annual Fund raises unrestricted funds from alumni, parents, staff and friends of the University to support projects across our campuses that would otherwise not receive funding. The Annual Fund seeks support each and every year from both existing and new donors.
Our main objective is to ensure that there are funds available to allow us to respond quickly and appropriately to the areas of greatest need at Exeter. Your donations make a significant and immediate impact upon the quality of the Exeter experience for our students.
The Annual Fund awarded over £150,000 in 2010/2011 towards a range of projects.
Why we need your help
Annual gifts are as essential as capital gifts to enable our exciting projects and plans to become a reality. Regular, committed support through the Annual Giving Programme helps us to plan for the future. The collaborative impact of many combined gifts and donors is truly transformational.
There has never been a better time to support the University. The government introduced a Matched Giving Scheme. Exeter University has joined the scheme and we hope to have donations up to 2011 matched at a ratio of 3:1. This means that for every £3 you donate the government will add £1. If you are a UK taxpayer, the Gift Aid on your donation will also be matched.
