The Class of 2012 Committee present a cheque for £786 at the Graduation Ball, on behalf of all student donors
Graduating class gift
The 'Class of...' project has been running since 2010 and is a perfect opportunity for final year students to come together, celebrate their final year and work together to leave a lasting legacy for future generations.
Each year volunteers establish a class committee to fundraise and gain support in order to leave a graduating class gift or legacy. The committee help spread the word amongst their fellow students about what it means to become part of their alumni community and how this community can support them whilst at university and after graduation.
Being part of the committee provides great experience, sharpening skills in marketing, public speaking, event planning and organisation, fundraising, communications, project management...the list goes on! Support and training is provided by the experienced Development and Alumni Relations team to help the committee run a successful project and leave a lasting legacy of their time at Exeter.
The Annual Fund
The Class of... project raises money for the University's Annual Fund, which supports a wide variety of projects across the University, all of which enhance the student experience. It is an unrestricted fund which allows the University to respond to areas of greatest need across all three campuses which otherwise would not receive funding. Donations make a significant impact upon the quality of the Exeter experience for all our students.
