We want to hear all about your experiences at the University.

Exeter memories

The University of Exeter has a rich and varied history and can trace its origins to schools and colleges established in the middle of the nineteenth century. Although we have detailed knowledge of how the University evolved into what it is now, it is the memories and experiences of our alumni that are vital to keeping the spirit of the University alive.

In this section we share with you some of those memories from our alumni - these range from couples who met here to recent graduates passing on helpful tips to the next intake of students.

My Exeter, your Exeter - a collection of stories from alumni about how their time at the University has impacted their lives. These stories come from individuals, couples, friends and families who have attended Exeter. Each person tells of their unique experiences.

Graduate memories - on their day of graduation, alumni share tips and favourite memories of their time at Exeter.

We are also asking our alumni to help contribute to this part of the website, to make a place where you can all share your favourite memories with each other. Perhaps you met your lifelong friends here or your partner or do you have a special memory of a University event or a lecturer who changed your perspective on life? Whatever your memory is, we want to hear about it – either individually or as a group. We look forward to hearing your stories!
