ANG Role: International

My career began at Citibank in London, with whom I moved to the US. I then joined UBS and spent nine years working in the US before moving back to London. In 2009 I joined Knight Capital and helped establish a fixed income trading business that swiftly grew from 10 to 50 people, becoming a competitor to the bulge-bracket investment banks and a key provider to over 500 clients. My most important accomplishment in the last 5-10 years was this decision to leave UBS to help establish a small business.

I enjoy keeping in touch with the University as an alumni volunteer. I have been involved in student mentoring and was also a member of the 2010 Gala Dinner committee. I joined the Alumni Network Group in June 2011, initially with a remit for Sports and Societies. I currently hold responsibility for International activity.

My involvement with the University and its students has been enjoyable and rewarding in a variety of ways. I wish to give other alumni the access to these opportunities and am proud to work with such a diversified and experienced group of alumni in promoting the increasing success of our University.
