After graduating from Exeter, I first worked in PR, moving to Disney’s marketing team. I then joined Sky where I stayed for many years, working on developing and launching new products including video on demand, 3D and Sky Go, rising to Head of High Definition TV. I did a secondment to News International for six months, to work on their digital strategy. Upon returning to Sky, I led the marketing for a Wifi product called The Cloud.

I left Sky last year to join BT, where I first worked on corporate strategy, developing the strategy and business case to acquire Premier League TV rights. I now lead the strategy and product development for the exciting new sports channel, launching next year.

I’ve been involved both with volunteering and mentoring with Exeter students, as well as organising work experience at Sky and BT.

A former lecturer in marketing communications on the Chartered Institute of Marketing’s professional Diploma, I am hugely interested in helping students to develop their employability skills. I joined the Alumni Network Group in February 2011 with responsibility for communications.

The Alumni Network Group is a fantastic forum to give the University strategic advice, and we play an important role in helping Exeter become everything it can be.
