Alumni enjoy Investment Management Reception

Thirty alumni and guests working in the investment management community gathered at Sarasin & Partners in London yesterday (March 23rd) for a Business School reception. The focus of the evening was a research presentation by Professor Alan Gregory, Director and Professor of Corporate Finance, which explored his research into whether markets value Corporate Social Responsibility.

Professor Neil Armstrong, Deputy Vice Chancellor, was on hand to welcome alumni to the reception and update them on the latest developments at the University of Exeter and the Business School.

The event was generously hosted by Christopher Pease (Law 1980), Director – Private Business at Sarasin & Partners at their offices on the 5th Floor of Juxon House. The timely arrival of some early spring sunshine allowed guests to enjoy drinks and canapés on the balcony with some spectacular views of St Paul’s Cathedral at sunset.

Alan’s presentation was followed by more drinks and canapés and informal networking.

Our thanks go out to Nigel Primmer and Lucy Berwick of the Business School Alumni Association (BSAA) Advisory Group who were on hand to talk to alumni about current and future alumni activities . To find out more about the BSAA, please visit the Business School website.

Thank you to everyone who attended and made it such an enjoyable evening, and in particular to Christopher Pease for so generously hosting the event.
