Exeter alumnus Narinder Minhas

Alumnus provides insight into a career in documentary film-making

Exeter alumnus Narinder Minhas (Engineering Science, 1981) returned to campus yesterday to give a talk to students on his 20 year career in the TV industry.

The ‘In Conversation’ format saw Senior Film lecturer Will Higbee asking Narinder questions about his career. Narinder also played exerts from some of his documentary films including ‘The Truth About Gay Animals’, ‘James Hewitt: Confessions of a Cad’ and ‘White Tribe’.

Senior Film Lecturer, Will Higbee said of the event, 'The students that I spoke to at the reception were very enthusiastic about what they had heard, and found the advice that Narinder gave very helpful.'

90 students attended the event which was followed by a networking reception.
