Professor Black wants to hear your memories from the past 60 years.

Take part in new Exeter history

The University celebrates its Diamond Jubilee in 2015 and work is already starting on a new book which will celebrate the previous six decades.

Professor Jeremy Black from the history department will be in charge of the project and he wants to hear plenty of memories from alumni about their work and life here.

He said: “We already have pictures and information about the development of Exeter over the years. However what really makes a university is the students who attend.

“I really want to find out from alumni about life across the generations, across the campuses and subject areas. I’m as interested in societies, sports, friendships and halls of residences as I am about academic study.

“The only way to build a true picture of the spirit of Exeter over the past sixty years is to hear directly from the people themselves and I hope lots of alumni will come forward with memories.”

Anyone who wishes to take part in the project should contact Professor Black via alumni@exeter.ac.uk
