Get in the festive spirit and join us at this year's carol service.

Alumni book to attend second carol service

Nearly 100 graduates are already planning to join this year’s Exeter carol service in central London.

It’s the second year the service will take place, at St Mary Woolnoth Church in the City. Last year the Church was full for the popular 45-minute event which is based on the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols.

“We thought a special carol service for Exeter alumni would be popular but even we were surprised and delighted by the numbers who came last year,” said Hugh MacDougald (Law 1976), who organised the event alongside Jonathan Broad (Law 2008).

“We are very pleased that so many people have already said they plan to come again this year. It is going to become an annual part of the festive calendar.”

Volunteers for singing in the choir would be most welcome and we would love to hear from anyone who sang in last year's concert. Please contact Richard Brain (History, 2011), our choirmaster, directly if interested rtjbrain@hotmail.com.

The event takes place on Thursday 5 December at 6.15pm (rehearsal for the choir/readers at 5.30pm) and is followed by mince pies and refreshments. It is free to attend but please register using our online registration form.
