Outside the London Stock Exchange

Business School host alumni reception at London Stock Exchange

In February, the Business School Alumni Association hosted a special reception at The London Stock Exchange, attended by alumni and senior Business School staff.

The event featured special guest speaker, Andy Haldane, Chief Economist of the Bank of England, speaking about the 2008 financial crisis, Brexit and the Bank of England’s reaction to these events. Guests enjoyed an insightful presentation, including a 5000 year data showcase demonstrating interest rates are the lowest they’ve ever been in history!

There was also a QA session hosted by Pro Vice-Chancellor and Executive Dean of the Business School, David Bruce Allen, and informal networking.

Images from the event can be viewed in our online gallery.
