Money raised will be used to improve the student experience

Telethon raises £163,267 for student projects

Thanks to the generosity of our alumni we have raised £163,267 in our autumn telethon. 44 current Exeter students called over 2000 alumni over the course of five weeks.

Rose Cohen, Regular Giving Manager said, “Our student callers really enjoyed talking to Exeter alumni from all around the world, updating them about University news and hearing about their memories and experiences at Exeter and what they have been doing since. We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of our alumni community: 30% of the alumni our students spoke to made a donation towards improving the student experience at Exeter. We would like to thank everyone who shared their experiences with the students, pledged a gift or offered some of their time to help.”

Money raised will be invested in a range of projects from sports equipment to scholarships and bursaries and support for student societies.
