Alumni take on University Challenge for festive special
University of Exeter alumni will be taking on counterparts from the University of Birmingham on a festive edition of University Challenge this December.
Hosted by Exeter Honorary Graduate Jeremy Paxman, the show will air on Friday, 28 December at 20:00 on BBC Two.
The Exeter team is captained by television producer and director Paul Jackson (English, 1970) and features; award-winning playwright Jessica Swale (Drama, 2004); BBC news correspondent, Jon Kay (Politics, 1992); and statistician and Director of the School of Public Health at Imperial College, Professor Deborah Ashby OBE (Mathematics, 1980). They will be facing Birmingham alumni including comedian Chris Addison and actor Nigel Lindsay.
