Boat Club in BUCS Gold!

Following hard months of winter training and a successful Easter training camp in France, Sports Scholars Hannah Traylen and Jess Elkington won Gold in the Lightweight Double, at the BUCS Regatta in Nottingham from 2-4 May. Hannah’s scholarship is funded by alumna Tish Page and the boat they raced in was bought as a result of the recent rowing appeal. They now qualify for the European Universities Championships, in Germany from 9-12 September. The BUCS Regatta is the culmination of the BUCS rowing season. Exeter University Boat Club took 71 athletes to compete in 31 events over the 3 days.
