The Annual Fund is funded by alumni and supporters of the University and has raised over £222,000 this year.

Annual Fund supports 37 projects across the University

More than £222,000 donated by alumni and supporters is set to fund a range of projects across the University of Exeter. Thanks to the generosity of alumni and supporters, 37 fantastic projects will receive funding over the next year.

A total of 37 projects are being supported by the Annual Fund, the University’s fundraising appeal. A special disbursement panel made up of donors, staff and students recommended which projects should be funded.

Successful projects include the Sports Volunteering Scheme, offering students the opportunity to coach sport to children in local schools, the Tremough Work Placement Fund, enabling students from low socio-economic backgrounds to take unpaid summer placements and work experience, and the Community Action Summer Adventures Project, allowing students to run a two-week summer camp for Young Carers in the local area.

Alumni support allows the University to fund projects like these, which simply wouldn’t happen otherwise. Thank you to all of you who donated to our Annual Fund last year, making these projects a reality and enhancing student life here at Exeter.
