How do I access Hub support?

Biomedical Informatics Hub project support is available in two forms:

  • As part of a fully costed grant which has included salary costs for the relevant hub members (or an existing grant for which salary can be transferred)
  • FREE in support of a pilot project for up to 1-week of time per project. The project must lead to a publication including the hub member as an author. In addition, the hub member must be costed on grant applications resulting from the work.

To include hub members on grant funding or to transfer salary costs from existing sources:

1. Please contact the relevant hub member to discuss the project and obtain an estimate for the amount of time required.

2.  Contact your RAFT team with these details.

To apply for FREE support:

  1. Discuss your project idea and requirements with the appropriate member(s) of the Hub team
  2. Submit a formal proposal at the Biomedical Informatics Hub project submission site(N.B. Only available on the university network or via VPN access)
  3. Await approval from the ISSF board member reviewing your proposal
