This was followed by presentations about different aspects of Humanities research at Exeter, highlighting existing multidisciplinary projects and some possible areas for new collaborative work:

  • Global Uncertainties -  Professor Andrew Thorpe (Associate Dean, Research & Knowledge Transfer)
  • Medical Humanities - Dr Kate Fisher (Director, Centre of Medical History)
  • Sustainability and Environmental Change - Professor Nick Groom (Professor of English)
  • Identities and Beliefs - Professor David Horrell (Director, Centre for Biblical Studies)
  • Societal and Lifestyle Shifts - Professor Mick Mangan (Head of Drama)

Each presentation was followed by a discussion session to explore the topics and issues surrounding multidisciplinary research. The event ended with a networking lunch in the Queens Senior Common Room.
