Date 17 April 2012
Time 13.30-17.30
Location Poldhu Room, Kay Building, Streatham Campus

The first Exeter Imaging Network event of 2012  focussed on aspects of plant and fungal cell biological imaging and analysis and was co-sponsored by Olympus.

Presentations

Quantitative confocal ratio imaging - Dr Mark Fricker (University of Oxford )

On the move: correlating plant organelle movement with function requires better quantification of movement characteristics - Dr Imogen Sparkes (Biosciences, University of Exeter)

Visualising single motor proteins in a living cell - Professor Gero Steinberg (Biosciences, University of Exeter)

Further Information

The Exeter Imaging Network is funded by Bridging the Gaps. It is a forum where University of Exeter bioscientists, mathematicians, systems biologists, physicists, computer scientists and anyone else with an interest in image acquisition and analysis can find collaborators or colleagues with similar imaging interests, problems and solutions.
