As a leading research-intensive University, we pride ourselves on our world class research and the leading projects we deliver for commercial organisations. We have the experience, facilities and expertise to carry out a wide range of research and consultancy projects, tailored to your needs.
With a recent £450m investment programme including a £25m investment in the Business School and £18m in Biosciences, Exeter has a wealth of world-class facilities on-site. Businesses can access these facilities plus academic expertise on a Contract Research or Consultancy basis.
Consultancy and contract research is a straightforward route for businesses to engage with the University. Projects can be long or short-term, for both large and small businesses, and are developed with your objectives in mind.

R&D Tax Credits
In addition your project may be eligible for assistance with R&D Tax Credits. This valuable incentive can help to reduce the overall cost of working with the University. Even greater tax incentives are in the pipeline so it is worth considering your options now to make full benefit of this scheme.

We can put you in touch with relevant academics, and we also offer a project management service to develop and support consultancy and contract research projects.
