Working with business
We manage and host a variety of business networks to support knowledge, expertise and experience sharing amongst business people, academics and other professionals.
|Business Leaders Forum||The premier networking group for senior business people in the South West. Aimed at chief executives and senior management, it is a membership-based organisation that enables influential business people to stay up-to-date with current trends in business.
The Forum also provides an invaluable means of exchanging knowledge and developing ideas through business peers and leading academics.
|Devon International Trade Forum||We help to coordinate the Devon International Trade Forum (DITF). It is run by a committee of people who already successfully export their company's products, and others who are involved in the day to day business of exporting. DITF aims to hold four meetings a year. Each meeting is free to attend and includes four short presentations on different aspects of exporting.||01548 857009

They represent and assist private sector innovation.
|Exeter Initiative for Statistics and its Applications (ExIStA)||The Exeter Initiative for Statistics and its Applications is the region’s centre for statistical expertise.
It aims to bring together statisticians working in the University and within local public and private sector organisations and to foster and promote inter-disciplinary statistical activity.
|Innovation Club||The Innovation Club provides an opportunity for South West business professionals to explore ways they can develop the innovation capacity within their business and link with other focused individuals seeking to do the same.
The club forms part of research led by Professor John Bessant and the University of Exeter Business School's Innovation Research Group, and features expert academics from the School alongside regional business experts in bi-monthly workshop sessions.
