Smart Solutions

We developed the Smart Solutions scheme in conjunction with the Innovation Centre, utilising the European Challenge Invest Fund in order to help knowledge-based businesses in the South West who were committed to maintaining development during the recession. Our expert support, top quality facilities, and excellent students and graduates helped a number of innovative local businesses to achieve their plans when everyone else was standing still.

Until September 2010, we offered Innovation Awards and Scholarships which were available for:

• Graduate & Student Task Force
• Leadership and Management
• Knowledge Transfer Partnerships

Awards dinner

As of November 2010 the Smart Solutions scheme has successfully come to a close. On Thursday 9 December we will be joining the local businesses who benefitted from the scheme in celebrating their success at a gala awards dinner at Sandy Park Conference and Banqueting Centre, where a number of the projects to have emerged from the Smart Solutions initiative will be rewarded with prizes.
