Property Services is responsible for reactive and planned maintenance of all of the University owned buildings.

Property Services

The Property Services team responds to all maintenance requests received by the Campus Services Help Desk.

Property Services is constructed of two teams. One team is responsible for the structural elements of University owned buildings, this includes items such as: bricklaying; plastering; plumbing; decorating; carpentry and key cutting.

The second team is responsible for all mechanical and electrical elements for all University owned buildings including but not limited to: lamp replacements; boiler faults and repairs; heating issues and electrical testing.

Property Services are also responsible for the completion and monitoring of statutory legal requirements such as legionella inspections; gas testing; fume cabinets; air conditioning; lifting equipment; lifts; PAT testing and lightening protection.
