The Business Support Team are based at Mardon Hall and support all Campus Services staff.  Please look at the Business Support Organisational Chart for full details of who is in the team.

Alison Ramsden

Communication Manager

Responsible for effective delivery of all internal communications to ensure that Campus Services staff are kept up to date with news and priorities both within and external to the Service.  This includes maintaining, developing and implementing internal communications which are suitable for a large and diverse service unit. 

Alison is also responsible for supporting individual teams with their internal communications, organising staff events and managing the Campus Services website and social media platforms.

Mark Williams

Mark Williams

BICSc Business Support Manager

Responsible for the training requirements of all cleaners and porters and to ensure The British Standard of Cleaning Science Standard is delivered. To look at ways of improving cleaning quality, efficiency, raising morale and awareness throughout the cleaning services provided throughout the University.

Mark has worked at the University since 2009 and is a qualified BICSc Assessor.   He is currently taking his CIEH Advanced Food Safety and NEBOSH General Certificate in Health & Safety to increase knowledge in these areas to allow for Internal Auditing of the Universities policies and procedures.

Strategic Support Manager

Davina’s role is to act as a ‘Strategic Partner’ to the Senior Managers of Campus Services.

Heading up a team of 3 staff, her responsibilities include working in partnership across the organisation to develop and consult upon underpinning business improvements, employee engagement and customer service initiatives, strategies, frameworks and policies to support the strategic direction and vision of Campus Services.

Mike Marshall

Mike Marshall

Quality Coordinator

Helping to deliver a variety of customer feedback mechanisms across Campus Services, Mike works with individual services to identify areas for improvement and areas of good practice, to support their aim of achieving and maintaining service excellence. His work includes building and deploying surveys, assisting in the running of an internal mystery shopper programme and producing bespoke reports.

David Bonner

Dr David Bonner

Service Improvement Officer

Responsible for overseeing the implementation of an ISO9001 Quality Management system for Event Exeter and for supporting managers in implementing revised KPI processes and measures. David works as part of a team supporting services in maintaining service excellence across Campus Services. As part of this process David also manages the Campus Services Student Mystery Shopping Project.

David holds a PhD from the Business School and is a Fellow of the Institute of Administrative Management.
