Head of Facilities Operations
Mark leads the Facilities Management ‘OneCleaning Team’ of around 220 members of staff within Academic Buildings and Student Accommodation across both Streatham and St Lukes Campus, Mark also manages the British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) Academy to ensure cleaning standards are met to maintain a safe and healthy environment. Mark also leads on Health & Safety for Facilities Management and works closely with the University’s Health & Safety Team as well as being an internal auditor for ISO 14001 Environmental & Sustainability, he also sits on the Learning Spaces Organisational Group and Litter Management Group.
Mark also holds qualifications with the following Awarding Bodies, NEBOSH, IOSH, Prince 2 Project Management, BIFM, CIEH, CIWM, FEPS, OHAS 18001, ISO 9001.
Prior to working at the University, Mark was a Quality Assurance Manager for 16 years for a manufacturing company who specialised in supplying precision products to the cryogenic, medical and scientific industries.

Facilities Operations Manager
Helen is part of the Senior Management Team for Facilities Management and, is a member of the executive of the British Association for Cleaning in Higher Education (BACHE) attending board meetings and Conferences across the UK. She is currently working with her team to develop and deliver changes to the service delivery to create a seamless, multi skilled workforce.
St Luke's Facilities and Services Manager
Rob works closely with College Heads based at St Luke's to ensure that as Campus Services customers their needs are met. He will also be responsible for the overall look and feel of the campus including responsibility for the student accommodation at Rowancroft and Nancharrow.
Head of Security
Richard is the Head of Security and is responsible for the leadership of the Estate Patrol Security Team. His team comprises of 16 Estate Patrol Officers who are divided into 4 teams of 4 working 24/7/365, this resource is supplemented by 3 Night Estate Patrol Officers and 8 Residence Night Patrollers (term time only).
Richard comes from a maritime security background of 30 plus years employed within the Royal Navy as a Naval Policeman and the Merchant Navy as a Ship’s Security Officer for Princess Cruise Lines. The later part of Richard’s career centred around coaching, mentoring and training delivery, his efforts and research saw him graduate in 2014 with an MSc in Leadership and Management.
