Deliveries

All buffets are delivered with menus, labels and comment cards. All items will be supplied with the necessary crockery, glassware and napkins as standard. We now also supply tablecloths with every food booking. The customer must ensure that a suitable location with access via a lift (where higher or lower than ground level) is selected for the catering ordered. Our staff will layout the catering if tables are provided; otherwise, the delivery will be left to be unpacked. Should there be no access to the allocated room for delivery the food/beverages will be left outside to be unpacked by the customer. All food is delivered in temperature-controlled vehicles.

* Please note there is a 5% surcharge for all bookings at XFI, Streatham Court and Northcote House due to the bespoke service provided.

Delivery times and surcharges

Standard delivery times for Streatham Campus are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm. Standard delivery times for St Luke’s Campus are Monday to Sunday 8am to 7pm. Deliveries out of these times will be subject to a surcharge to cover additional costs as follows:

  • £25.00 - after 5.30pm on a weekday (after 7pm St Luke’s)
  • 25% of total booking - weekends (after 7pm St Luke’s with minimum £50 order)

Storage

When your food has been delivered, store it carefully away from direct sunlight or heat sources, such as radiators and draughts. Keep your food covered until it is required to ensure its freshness. Food deteriorates when left out at room temperature for long periods. We advise that you consume your meal within 1 hour of receipt. We would advise that food should not be consumed after 3 hours.

Collections

We will endeavour to collect all the equipment on the same day or by 9.00am the following day. Please indicate clearly at the time of booking when we are able to collect items. Please ensure that all items are packed up and ready for collection after your event. Please notify the catering office if the location for collection has changed. A charge will be made if items are not available for collection at the end of your event.

Any returnable items missing will be charged at the following replacement rates.
