Meet Your Future, Cornwall Campus Careers Fair

Meet Your Future is a careers information fair aimed at current University of Exeter and University College Falmouth Students of all years and disciplines of study at our Cornwall Campus. The fair is predominantly a fact finding event for students to aid their choice of career path or further study. It is an opportunity to find out in detail about internships and graduate options through presentations, stands and networking. The Fair also offers students the chance to find out more about volunteering, vacation work and gap year options. For businesses and organisations the Meet Your Future Fair is an opportunity to impart knowledge and experience as well as getting to know our students as potential employees or volunteers.

Our Meet Your Future Fair has proved so popular with employers that we are now fully booked for 2012.
If you would like us to add you to our waiting list in the event that a space becomes available, please email J.Turner@exeter.ac.uk confirming your interest. We will also be happy to discuss other ways in which you can meet and engage with our Cornwall Campus based students throughout the academic year.
Fair charges:
Private Sector, Local Government & Other (Includes recruitment agencies, central government, LEAs, PCTs, Unions, Associations, Professional Bodies and other HEIs) - £275 + VAT
Regional SME (For companies with fewer than 250 employees) - £125 + VAT
Voluntary (Registered charities and not-for-profit private sector) – No charge to attend
This includes:
- a stand space (2m length x 1.5m depth x 2m height) one table and 2 chairs
- a standard entry in our Exhibitor Guide
- hyperlink from the Employability and Graduate Development Service’s website & the Meet Your Future Fair website to your organisation’s website.
- wi-fi access (if requested)
- lunch for 2 exhibitors
- tea, coffee and mineral water available throughout the day
- car parking permit for 1 vehicle
Fair venue:
The Daphne Du Maurier Building,
Cornwall Campus, Treliever Road, Penryn, Cornwall TR10 9EZ
Venue access:
From 8.00am to 4.00pm on the day. Student Ambassadors will be available throughout these times. (Please note for Health & Safety reasons all stands must be assembled by 10am on the day and cannot be dismantled before 3.30pm)
Opening times:
The fair is open to students from 11.00am to 3.00pm.
Lunch:
A buffet lunch will be available for exhibitors in the Daphne Du Maurier Building from 12.30-2.00pm.
Attendance:
Last year we had over 40 exhibitors, 15 organisations gave presentations and up to 1000 students visit the fair.
Cancellation:
Cancellation must be received in writing by emailing Josie Turner, Employment Services Officer (J.Turner@exeter.ac.uk) by Monday 3rd October 2012. Cancellations received after this date will result in the full cost being incurred. Failure to attend the Fair, regardless of reason, will result in the full charge being levied.
