Drop-ins on campus

A drop-in will allow you to raise your profile with our students and meet potential employees informally by holding your event in or around our Social Street in our award winning Exchange Building. The relaxed environment lends itself to promoting your organisation to those passing by, as well as those who have already undertaken research and are eager to speak in more depth about your opportunities. These events can be arranged as a one off activity or alternatively, you may wish to schedule in other sessions as part of your visit.

Drop-ins will be located within the Exchange building, in an area known as ‘The Social Street in the Compass’.

The Social Street is located at the heart of the Student Service Exchange building making it an ideal location for high profile activity. It houses the main library, Lecture Theatre and Seminar Rooms, Student work spaces, student support services and the Career Zone. A busy space, it attracts approximately 500 visitors each day, with students of any discipline passing through.

Located on the Penryn Campus within the Exchange Building, drop-ins consist of a table and two chairs, an electrical point, wifi and space for a banner stand.

Drop-ins are marketed to students via email and listed on the ‘My Careers Zone’ website. In addition we also promote via our Facebook and Twitter accounts.

Where appropriate, the events will also be included in College-based marketing material.

They are offered throughout the academic year, Monday – Friday and can take place anytime between 09:00 - 17:00. We do, however, recommend that you cover the lunch period (11am – 2pm) to maximise student attendance.

Drop-ins start from £50+VAT
