International Virtual Careers Fair

The International Virtual Careers Fair provides organisations with the opportunity to have a 24/7 presence on campus. Open for ten days, and heavily marketed, it can be used to promote graduate vacancies and placements, postgraduate courses, training opportunities and professional bodies.

The 2016/17 fair will be organised into the following thematic sectors:

  • Americas opportunities
  • Asia Pacific opportunities
  • Europe, the Middle East and Africa opportunities
  • Arts, Media & Communications opportunities
  • Business Support Services & IT opportunities
  • Finance & Investment opportunities
  • Law, Education, Public & Third Sector opportunities
  • Leisure, Retail & Hospitality opportunities
  • Science & Engineering opportunities

Organisations who offer graduate level positions and/or student internships, postgraduate course providers and professional bodies in international locations are all eligible to exhibit.

Like a traditional fair, students are able to ‘visit’ exhibitors and view jobs in an online environment. The vacancies will be grouped into nine sectors and students will be able to view jobs based on the sector they are interested in.

To promote a specific vacancy we ask you to submit the vacancy via the Employer Console. If it is your first time accessing this console you will need to register and once you have logged in choose 'Add a new Job' on the left hand menu. We will be accepting content for the fair starting from July 31st 2016.

If you are interested in sponsoring the fair and have a branded banner ad space on the home page (guideline banner size: 690 x125 pixel) and logo’s on all subsequent pages as well as on the printed media, then we are offering this for the price of £500 + VAT. Contact us at if you are interested in sponsorship. All charges payable at the time of booking.

The fair will be promoted extensively during the autumn term through print and digital media cross-campus campaigns.

Absolutely. Alongside informing students of vacancies, it is also an opportunity to raise your profile generally – particularly if you’ve been unable to attend any of our other fairs during this academic year. Organisations that do not offer vacancies – such as professional bodies – are also invited to exhibit. Contact us at and we will provide you with a non vacancy specific booking form.
