Business strategy competition (XING)

It's all in the strategy! Do you have the vision to win at business strategy? Think you've got what it takes and want to take part in an exciting business strategy game? Look out for the XING competitions taking place during the Global Entrepreneurship Week in November and Spring Enterprise Week in March.

Xing is an exciting business strategy competition which simulates the growth of a business idea into a business.

The Xing competition gives you the opportunity to think creatively and entrepreneurially, and is an excellent way to develop key employability skills. You can enhance your commercial awareness, communication, teamworking, networking, working under pressure and presentation skills.

Working in a team of six, you will develop, plan and present a strategy for a real business scenario that will be unveiled at the event.

You'll get the chance to bounce your ideas off business experts before pitching your strategy to a judging panel.

Teams will be judged on how they work as a team, how they use the advice and knowledge of the business experts and how they pitch to the panel.

Previous expert panel members have included: University directors and senior managers, Exeter City Football Club, HMRC and many others.

You don't need any business knowledge or any prior experience of business strategy to participate in the XING competition. All you need is ideas and enthusiasm!

Lunch and refreshments will be provided, and there will be prizes for the winning team.
