We deliver a range of careers fairs which are designed to provide you with access to a range of employers offering part-time work, internships and graduate opportunities. These companies are keen to recruit Exeter students making them a fantastic opportunity for you to access potential future employers.

If you are new to the campus or needing to earn some pennies - the Jobs fair will help set you up with local paid work

This fair is organised by University of Exeter in collaboration with Falmouth University and will be open to ALL students. Whether you are new to the campus or looking to make some money come along and speak to local companies to find out what options there are for part time work during term time as well as over holidays.

Come along to uncover extra ways you can get involved with your University experience - ranging from committee positions, workshops to supporting changes to your course.

There are lots of ways to gain experience whilst your studying at University - and become more engaged with the student and campus community.

Employers are always wanting students with soft skills (communication, leadership and teamwork) so get out of your comfort zone and learn some skills!

The Cornwall campus prides itself on sustainability and giving back to the Community - the Volunteering Fair (organised in conjunction with FXU) will give you a huge range of potential positions to really make a difference to the local area but also your CV!

This fair offers volunteering, internships, placements and graduate opportunities within the third sector and all aspects of the public sector. So many students already support, volunteer and intern at a wide range of charities, NGO’s and public sector bodies whilst studying, as well as engaging in the local community. This is a great event to talk to organisations, build your network and find opportunities to develop your skill set to become a real asset to any organisation in these sectors.

This fair is open to current Exeter students from all years and disciplines of study but will be most suited to those studying in our College of Engineering, Mathematics & Physical Sciences (CEMPS), College of Life and Environmental Sciences (CLES) and Medical School (UEMS).

We are providing coach travel for Cornwall Campus students who wish to attend the STEM Careers Fair based on Streatham campus.

Coach Timings:

Departure from Penryn Campus: 09:00 Arrive Streatham Campus: 11:00

Depart Streatham Campus: 15:00 Arrive back at Penryn Campus: 17:00

Following your feedback - the STEM Fair 2017 has now evolved to 'Careers & Opportunities Fair' which will be one of the largest Career Fairs on the Penryn campus and will provide access to companies across all sectors including Finance, Media, Business, Goeoscience, Bioscience, Maths and Teaching to name a few!

This new fair is open to ALL sectors including Teaching, Finance, Mining, Media, Biosciences, Business and General Science Graduate recruiters. We are expecting at least forty employers to exhibit at this event which will make it the largest career fair on the campus!

This event open to students studying at Falmouth University and University of Exeter.

If you don't know where to start or looking for inspiration, the Study/Work Abroad Fair will guide you to where you can go for a semester!

This fair is an opportunity to meet other students and hear their experiences of working/studying abroad.

 


Wednesday 6th February 11-2pm The Compass

A new fair coming to the Spring term - this will be open to all students and include local and national companies across all sectors.

The CLES Career fair is being held on 27th Feburary 2019.

The fair is a great networking opportunity for students of the College of Life and Environmental Science, and a chance to talk to relevant persons.

Come along to a relaxed environment to meet people who have a similar background and hear their career pathways. A variety of opportunities are available through volunteer opportunities, internships and graduate jobs. Every year has a diverse range of stall holders from veterinarians, to academic researchers to conservationists and NGOs.
