Making yourself employable is a big part of getting the job you want - good qualifications are only half the answer. Whether you have a specific career in mind, or have no idea about which direction to take, there are many opportunities that you can take advantage now that will make you more employable when you leave University.

Our Career Timeline tells you what you should be doing and when to plan your career and make yourself more employable over the course of your degree.

My Career Zone

My Career Zone is our online system that allows you to find graduate-level jobs and internships, look for part-time work, make appointments with the careers service and book onto employability events. You can use it for three years after you graduate!

Come and see us

We have brand new Career Zones on both the Streatham Campus and the Cornwall Campus (Open September/ October 2012). This is where you can find loads of career resources and where you will need to come for career advice appointments.

Career advice appointments

At both Streatham and Cornwall Campuses we offer a same day, next day appointment booking service with our Information Team and professional Careers Consultants - you can talk to us about pretty much anything career related!

No idea where to start?

If you have no idea where to start and would like to speak to somebody in person, then why not come and see us in the Career Zone (Streatham Campus) or The Careers Advisory Service (Tremough). Our Information Team can talk you through a range of resources to help you start thinking about you career and can bring you up to speed on what you should be doing to make yourself more employable.
