My Career Zone
If you're a current student of the University of Exeter, you can use My Career Zone to:
- Find graduate-level jobs
- Look for part-time and casual work
- Find internship opportunities
- Search employability factsheets and FAQs
- Book onto employability events and skills sessions
When you first log in you will be asked to set your preferences. Once you do, My Career Zone will pull through jobs and events that are relevant to you onto your My Career Zone home page without you having to search for them.
Don’t worry about missing out on anything - you can search and browse our complete listings of jobs, events and resources - setting your preferences just helps the system highlight the ones most relevant to you. You can change your preferences whenever your interests change.

Updating your details when you graduate
When you graduate you will have access to My Career Zone for 3 years, but you will need to update your contact details.
To do this, go to the My Career Zone login page, click the words “Graduates and prospective students” and log in with your Exeter username and password.
You’ll need to confirm your identify – just type your home email address and click “send login instructions”. We’ll then you a link which you can use to reset your password and log in to your account.
Don’t panic if this option doesn’t work for you – we can help. Click Request Login. We’ll ask for some extra information to verify your identity – your student number, username, email address, name and phone number. Please give as much information as you can; a member of Career Zone staff will look into your problem and get in touch by email, typically within one working day.
