The podcasts have been recorded and edited by Chloe Aust. Chloe graduated with a BA in Philosophy and Politics in 2007. Chloe is aiming for a career in the radio industry as a broadcast journalist. She spent two and a half years volunteering for the Campus radio station 87.7 Xpression FM, including working for a year running the station in the role of Station Manager. Chloe has also had work experience at a number of radio stations including Power FM and Express FM in Portsmouth and London's XFM. She is returning to her hometown of Portsmouth in 2007-08 to do a postgraduate course in Broadcast Journalism at Highbury College.
‘This internship is going to help my career immensely. Podcasting is part of a range of new media that are taking over the radio industry, having experience in it is going to be key in the future. It is also giving me more to add to my CV in terms of speech- based radio - the area I wish to work in. Having done this internship is going to look fabulous from the eyes of prospective employers and hopefully give me the advantage over other applicants when I go for jobs’.
These podcasts were produced as part of a University of Exeter Internship based in the Careers and Employment Service.
